Going on an adventure.....

I am finally starting to feel like my old self again, still fighting a cough but with the damp in this country its not so easy to fight off !!!
So after a long time I am finally going out on the town, I have tried to get my husband to tell me where he is taking me but for the moment his is not going to tell me.....Maybe I should let the night surprise me but I want to pick out an outfit that is appropriate for whatever we will be doing tonight ....is it fancy, glam, hip,casual who knows?
Not knowing is driving me a bit loopy but Im gonna stick it out, and if Im not ready on time it's not my foult!!!



Talking about clothes, I have been going washing crazy these last days traying to empty my hampers.....loads of washing has been done but those hampers are still over flowing.....and all the ironing that is waiting to get done, and my least favorite part taking all the clean clothes up stairs and putting it away is a task I always try to avoid doing but it always slaps me in the face in the end!!!
Think I will get on the laundry so I can have a sleep in tomorrow.........see ya.

Yesterday the heavens opened their floodgates and kept those gates open all day and night long!!!!
It was like living in a rain cloud...I love rainy days but when it comes with a chill it's not very nice.

But today I was awakened by sunrays and singing birds I could not help but smile and be over joyous to the fact that I can finaly hang out my laundry!!!!  Gonna have to do many loads today before the rainy days return .....

I Jinxed myself........

Yesterday I was talking with a friend and she was telling me her daughter was coming down with the flu and silly me what did I go and say "hope she feels better soon" and " I cant complain I have not had a cold in ages" the very same evening my throat gets really itchy and what do you know today I have the flu !!!!!
Why did I have to go and open my big mouth.........
So keeping my two "out of control" boys busy today is going to be a task on it's own and at the same time trying to get the home organized will be a new adventure on it's own........ So yet again I ask you to wish me luck I will be needing it !!!

Autmn has arrived with its cold misty mornings....and I am just loving it, autumn being my favorite season and all.
The sun is shining and today me and my husband will be putting some final touches to a set of desks we decided to construct ourselfs and they are coming on really well, cant wait to fix up my new office, make it a bit more professional........

But that means one really bad thing for me!!!! because at the moment my office is also used as a guest bedroom and a laundry folding station, but the laundry never stays folded for very long so it's more like a pile of unfolded clothes......the bad thing being I have to organize my office and get rid of all the mess before we can move our new desks in......So I need to get organized today and just clean my ass off.....Wish me luck!!!!

The roast should be in the oven by now but I am always a last minute girl !!! and dinner is never on time, but my theory is if it tastes good that is all that counts. I am actually going to get up right now and butter up that chicken.....see ya later .....

I am after all a slummy mummy and I do have my adventures...they will be of the stranger kind but adventures all the same so I hope you will follow me into the life of a slummy mummy......
